On Thursday, December 11th the Palace Theatre located in Albany, NY was all aglow. The exterior shone bright on the dark and slightly snowy night, inviting all of the excited children and families to come inside.
Once inside the venue boasted signs and souveniers of the show that was about to start! It was the Fresh Beat Band! The energy was felt all through the lobby and in the theatre. Kids were excitedly waving light up sticks, glowing drum sticks and microphones ready to dance and sing along.
When the Fresh Beats took the stage we were delighted with some new tunes such as “Walk Like an Egyptian” ( I tried to explain to my kids that this was a NEW song for the Fresh Beat Band but an old favorite for Mommy!) and they debuted the new theme song to their upcoming spy cartoon!
Between the wonderful seats and ambiance of the venue at the Palace Theatre and the energy of the Fresh Beat Band performing live, no one was able to sit still!
Next time the Fresh Beat Band is on tour near you, Get Up and GO! GO! and get yourself some tickets – you won’t be disappointed.
Keep your eyes open for more upcoming events at the Palace Theatre. A wonderful venue – it was only 1 hour and 6 minutes driving time from NYS Thruway Exit 18 (New Paltz) to the Palace Theatre. An easy commute for an evening out!
